  • Old Codger

I don’t know if there truly are NO victims in America but I am damned sure there are a WHOLE LOT FEWER victims than we’ve been led to believe.

It’s been a long time since I watched “The Matrix” so what the heck does “There is no spoon.” mean?

    • kadaka

The spoon is not real, everything is a computer-generated illusion, thus in reality the spoon does not exist. There is no spoon.

In related concepts, support keeps growing that we really are in some sort of simulation, not “hard” reality. (Q: But how can they simulate an entire universe? A: They don’t have to, like with video games you only have to directly generate what is experienced, everything else can just be numbers.) Some think we’re in a holographic universe, 2D info projected as 3D. The math works better that way.

Read ‘UBIK” by Philip K Dick

        • Henry

Read pretty much anything by Philip K. Dick. 🙂

A lot of people are under the misimpression that the world is an illusion, and that we live in The Matrix. This is false.

The truth is that the world is a hellucination, and we live in The Onion.

Now it all makes much more sense, right?

          • I suggest that you present the folks saying this with the option of proving their point by stepping in front of a moving bus.

Generally, you’ll discover they don’t have the courage of their supposed convictions.

      • Meh. Chasing that path is a waste of energy. The only life you can live is the one you’re in, and the only actions that you can make matter are the ones you take in the here and now.

Doesn’t matter if there’s a multiverse, doesn’t matter if reality is fabricated, doesn’t matter if the universe is a holograph.

You have one life you can prove, you have the sure knowledge that you’ll die someday, and no matter what’s behind the curtain, you have just the instant in which you’re alive to make your life matter to yourself and others.

The math doesn’t change the way you experience your life, or the value you choose to give it.

    • GWB

No, there ARE victims in America. But not the ones they claim. They are not victims by virtue of their color or class or sex, nor even by their chosen sex/sexuality.

There are real individual victims. They get hurt every day by societal predators – neighborhood, corporate, governmental, terrorists. Sometimes because they’re black or gay or a woman. But usually just because they’re in the sights of the predator.

    • Fronk!

I believe the greater metaphor is that much of what we see as the barriers and obstacles before us are truly imaginary or at the very least, greatly exaggerated, and more easily overcome than we think.

    OT Request for Chris:
Would it be possible to alter the website code such that when an imbedded link is selected it opens in a new tab? David Codrea’s “The War On Guns” blog site does that and it is mighty nice to just click on a link and it open in a new tab. Admittedly it’s no big deal to hold down the ctrl and shift keys when selecting a link but it’d be nice not to have to remember to hold down those two keyswhen doing so.

    • kadaka

“hold down the ctrl and shift keys”

Oh, that works too, I learned something today. Normally I simply right-click and select “Open Link in New Tab”, sometimes New Window.

      • Brent Dotson

My mouse has a wheel in the middle and if you place your curser on the link and press down on the wheel it opens in a new tab

    • DeeKayT

On your iPad, just tap and hold for 2 seconds. When you release, a pop up menu will open and give the option to open in a new tab.

  • WayneM

The more details that come out, the worse and worse the mainstream media look…

I sincerely hope the lawyer who offered to start suing the blue checkmarks gets busy.

    • interventor

Has several already. Going for a class action suit.

  • JTC

Victim is as victim does and the left controls that narrative.

But maybe not for much longer.

They know that. Scares ’em. So they’re going all in.

This was a yuge misjudgment for them. It won’t be long now.

  • cz93x62

I would argue with Damon on his last assertion. One Watch IV shift in a Moreno Valley or Thermal Station patrol unit would disabuse him of THAT notion most ricky-tick.

    • GWB

Huh? I don’t get those references at all.

      • Patrick Shannon

What references? Moreno Valley and Thermal Station, or the Matrix and the Spoon?

        • JTC

Riverside. Where the Sheriff is also the Coroner. :I

          • JTC

            Oh, and where there’s a Watch IV…?

    • JTC

I think you and GWB above actually agree with Damon’s real point.

You are saying and Damon knows too that there are indeed individual victims -many of the ones y’all reference are victims of disarmament too, allowing their victimhood on the street- and of course they are real. But that’s a whole ‘nother thing than what we’re seeing in the bizarro world of leftism. Individuals are of no interest or value to them, they operate wholesale…and I think Damon is saying their created victim “classes” only exist in their narrative and for their benefit in all of media, entertainment, education, and of course congress…everywhere except the real world.

There is no spoon but they have no trouble getting many or most to see it anyway. And now because they got so publicly outed in this little episode of stirring up some shit with lies, they now claim class status of victimhood themselves, all-in like I said above.

And this might finally be enough to let many see that their whole production is all a lie, not only that there is no spoon but that there is no there there at all, but an agenda to obstruct or preferably destroy the inconvenient reality of Deplorableism that they hate so much and that is so frustrating their grand plan to hand over the world to their masters,

May the methods of deception they embrace, claiming against others what they themselves inflict, will this time be turned around again, a hat trick of narrative and tactical reversal…Alinsky would be proud.

      • NotYetInACamp

        Well put.
The enemy attacks in limited scenarios oft succeed (so far) in defeating any who are targeted.
The more such attacks as this are exposed, the stronger the realist become. Alinsky turned on them by identifying them, exposing them, demonizing them with the truth, then ridicule them.
Doing Alinsky tactics using truth and good as the limitations results the truth setting us free and great power, and maybe the win.
Any good act that brings the win is great. The turn around and reversal for the win for the USA will be wonderful.

  • Bill g

The media has shown that they will go all-in to support the Red Hat Bad message, and support any attack on any and all Trump supporters who publicly identify as such.
Meanwhile, the Mueller Infestation, er, Investigation grinds on. Any real findings would have been leaked by now. I fail to believe that it has any real purpose outside of driving people away from the idea of working in the Trump Administration.
They seem to be overreaching, but will something snap? One person writing about the possible lawsuit pointed at the difficulty of a public person suing for libel. That would be utter insanity; libel someone to the point that they’re publicly know and then say no lawsuit can go because they’re a public person?

    • John

The Mueller Investigation serves only one purpose at this point.
As long as the investigation is in progress Trump can’t clean house in the FBI for fear of being accused of Obstruction of Justice.
The moment Mueller declares an end to the investigation heads will avalanche.

  • Cliff

Calling a man a spoon, as in a “silver spoon” implied he was born to wealth and had no merit concerning his achievements. A put down.

  • Delilah T.

A yuuuuge group jumped on The Bandwagon to attack a bunch of juveniles, based on the whining by one self-serving jerk who started it. The attack by internet is turning into the nastiest pack of fabrications created so far. There is much more to this than meets the eye.
    The kids did nothing wrong.
The jackals of the internet supported the wrong individual.
This is imploding, turning into a giant spinning ice disc in the river of absolute crap that the media created because that pack of slimeball jackals wanted something “sensational”. (No offense meant to any real jackals.)
They should be careful what they wish for. I do not think they understand the term “useful idiots”.

    • Punta Gorda

They were trying to provoke a physical response so they could justify an actual lynching

      • Delilah T.

        They failed.

Which is a testament to the character and self-discipline of those young men.

  • Spin Drift

Since they like to play cards (race, victim, toxic topic of the day), I shut down a lot of spurious flame wars on Facebook by just answering:

“Orange Man Bad. Go Fish NPC and catch me a Larp.”

Make there silly case for them in a Masada sort of way. Art of War, 3d by burning their arguments, exposing their culture and then taking a smiles worth of pleasure from their histrionic behavior.

Bill: “libel someone to the point that they’re publicly know and then say no lawsuit can go because they’re a public person?”

That’s what the media did to George Zimmerman.

  • Henry

I read an article about the left’s tactic of getting up into the face of their chosen targets and yelling things like “Don’t you touch me!” and my first thought was, isn’t this exactly what police do when they beat the crap out of you while screaming “stop resisting!”?

    • Old Codger

In the immortal (and deceptively profound) words of Rodney King

Can’t we all just get along?

      • PaulS

Think that was Reginald Denny, who did get his ass kicked during the Rodney King riots.
A Radio Host played the entire MLK famous speech on Monday, I was surprised to find myself a bit put off by it as being wholly inappropriate in current society. While it did have a time and place, I imagine, as I was born the year he made it, things have changed, perhaps due to it or perhaps due to the good nature of conservative Americans. Those that cling to his speech being relevant these days, are simply insane.

  • DonS

This guy explains how the entire universe is a quantum digital simulation within a larger hyperdimensional reality, and how the Bible is validated as originating from outside of our space-time continuum. Yes, we are not alone in the universe… (cue twilight zone theme). But seriously, check this out:

There is a video of the whole encounter showing the black Hebrew videoing the non-vet in the student’s faces. At a point the Hebrew yells “Got it”! and the vet turns and walks away.
    It was a pre-planned event.

    • JTC

      Hebrew Schmebrew.

There are Jews spinning in their graves dating back way before Jesus to see these evil racist scum appropriate their noble history.

  • Brad

The fake vet et al. kinda jumped the shark on this one. He’s been NATIONALLY exposed now and any future acts & claims by him are automatically discredited. I think Chris simply left out one word for Damon. “There are no victim CLASSES in America”. I can’t imagine being such a loser in life that I would embrace being a member of a victim class. That’s just an excuse for being a loser.

  • Pamela

Those poor, poor Progressives must be in total agony. In order for them to survive, they need to be hooked up 24/7 to IV mainline cool aide laced with alternate reality enhancing protocols. Their brains must be total mush by now. I wonder who is profiting from all this bent reality.

    • Punta Gorda

      “News” PROGRAMMING.

      Lots of eyeballs to sell.

    • kadaka

Image consultants. There’s great money and influence to be had from learning how to tell people they’re the greatest, everyone that matters loves them, but it can still be better if they do this one thing…

    • John

“I wonder who is profiting from all this bent reality.”
The “news media” are payed by the click by their advertisers. What causes those clicks is irrelevant. Thus Orange Man Bad, which caters to the conformation bias of the 2016 losers, is serviced to the hilt with whatever disinformation they can manufacture.
Sadly, I know some otherwise intelligent people who have swallowed the narrative hook line and sinker, and it may be decades before they realize they’ve been gaslighted.
I had an aunt who, as a dedicated Democrat, hated Eisenhower until, after the Cold War was over, I pointed out that he was the architect of our never having fought WWIII.

  • NotYetInACamp

I love reading all of you discussing many methods and ways to win the war.

    • NotYetInACamp

As I have said before, the artist puts forth great ideas and inspiration for our minds to be used well, and s s some of the ideas placed out here for many to read.

  • JTC

It gives Jan the sads, but she knows…

    “Here it comes…”

    and then,

“How can the (leftist) establishment be a victim when is the oppressor?”

Rhetorical. She knows but struggles with the knowledge that what she has believed in for so long, is just a script with an agenda.

    • Pamela

Imagine how Skye tries to rationalize… Though I think Shakes is running on overdrive and is ready to throw more than one bearing.

Never underestimate the power of Cognitive Dissonance.
I am convinced that CD is a “feature” to be identified and fought in ourselves rather than the occasional “bug”.
