The FDA … just like the CDC and the NIH … has been infected with the Deep State Virus. FDA approval is a long ways away.

Of course Sam has approval to shed anytime …

The great HCQ shuffle was the last nail in the coffin of their credibility, IMHO.
And yet another nasty reminder for everyone else to stop copying dangerous “feel good” solutions from Harvard and review already existing ones with aim for less insecure design. Unfortunately, these reminders are never heeded.

Just sayin’ here you should examine your downside if you acquire an infection. What is your personal probability of dying from a Xiflu infection? It appears the probability of dying from the vaccines is down in the double digits per 100,000. For my age range that is MUCH MUCH lower than my chances without the vaccine. The decision was a no brainer. For a teenager, the math is more uncertain. It is YOUR duty to dredge out the numbers, filter them for noise and bad statistical handling, and then make your decision.

Do be aware that while the US claims 360k to 375k (depending on date you look) deaths from what they coyly call COVID-19 if you look a little farther the EXCESS deaths from all causes in the US in 2020 was below a sixth of that. That means COVID-19 was being given credit for flu deaths, pneumonia deaths, and common cold deaths.

So figuring out your chances with and without vaccine is not a simple deal. But, should you believe alarmists and the anti-vax folks that are bringing back polio from its grave by refusing vaccinations? Engage mind first then emotions.

Just sayin’. You owe it to yourself to make an informed decision. (I categorically refuse to make it for you. But, I will note that I’d like to do to the CCP flu exactly what we did to SmallPox. At the same time I’d like to “do” the CCP, too.)

“ It appears the probability of dying from the vaccines is down in the double digits per 100,000.”

Uh, the Death rate for ALL causes in the USA was 8.88 per 100,000 in 2020, 2019 was 8.782, so maybe look a little closer regarding “unexpected deaths” (genuine COVID-19 caused, maybe, except suicide rate also increased as well as other causes from the isolation and disruption)

Is it a real thing? Sure it is.
Is it what is being marketed to create widespread panic? I have doubts about that. I will say that the marketing is on par with the claims of a completely valid and fair 2020 Presidential election.

And the common thread: Both of those are about POWER and CONTROL over a population that didn’t used to want to be controlled by a government.

Yes. Making a similar logical assessment I decided not to get jabbed and admonish those younger than me not to, either. The deciding factor is the undeniable fact that this “pandemic” is (with the possible exception of AIDS) the only POLITICAL pandemic we’ve been forced to suffer through, making any and all “information” about it suspicious (at best) from the start. The motives behind the massive disinformation, intentionally destructive “medical advice”, unconstitutional restrictions and outright lies (which oddly always benefit Democrats) have not been hard to see through for anyone willing to consider that this couldn’t have been plotted by a bad batch of bat soup. I wear my polio shot scar proudly, but have as little risk of dying from Covid1984 as I have of contracting the far more lethal TDS-virus.

There’s a subtle difference between well studied, fully tested, in-use-for-many-years, proven effective vaccines against diseases like polio and measles and something dreamed up on the fly that’s never been tested using a completely different method of function that’s never been tested or accredited in any manner.
Why is it that the same people who were and are screaming to not have your children vaccinated against serious diseases now inisist everyone shove an untested substance with unknown side effects into themselves to satisfy their paranoia over something with a 99.7% survival rate ?

      My Way Or -->

Why? Ignorance and hysteria, that’s why. I had a classmate in college whose parents had refused to get him vaccinated for polio. They went to Egypt and he picked it up there, in his very early teens. He was fortunate that it only affected one side of his body, but he had a distinct limpness in his right arm and a scuff-and-drag walk. One of the nicest people on the planet, and his parents were afraid of vaxxes, IN THE 1950s, for Pete’s sake.

Also had a grade school classmate who didn’t show up one fall, because his parents had taken him to Africa and he’d picked up sleeping sickness, from a bite by a tsetse fly. No idea what happened to him after that.

All those “plague” diseases from the Middle Ages and earlier history come out of warm places and find new fields to conquer. This Wuhan bug started in the wild animal population and got picked up in the Chinese labs for experimentation. It is normally found in animals like pangolins and bats, and the Chinese people will eat anything that isn’t moving. During those 10 drought years under Mao, when they were starving, they cannibalized their own families.

Like MERS, SARS, and who knows what else, the Chinese engineered the Wuhanic Plague by attaching an existing coronavirus which would easily infect much of the human population with a cold (the delivery vehicle), to a rodent pneumonia virus (which in its natural state could not infect humans or could only infect us with great difficulty) that had been “upgraded” with a few other pernicious capabilities (the payload).

On or about October 5, 2019, the Chinese accidentally or deliberately released the Wuhanic Plague on an the world.

By March 2020, just as had happened with MERS and SARS, the Wuhanic Plague began to fall apart due to base pair deletions in the area where the payload was attached to the delivery vehicle. By November 2020, the Wuhanic Plague was far less dangerous and deadly than it had been in February 2020.

Unlike MERS and SARS, however, in the Wuhanic Plague, the Chinese had also managed to engineer some toxic capabilities into the “spike” of the coronavirus delivery vehicle, including at least one prion, the HIV 120 glycoprotein (there were at least 3 other HIV proteins added to the payload), and a Proline Arginine Arginine Alanine (PRRA) sequence. These modifications are largely responsible for the problems associated with the experimental vaccines.

I got the Moderna vax, two shots, the second one made me sick for a day. At the time I did not realize that this is mRNA. mRNA is essentially half of a DNA strand. But this mRNA was very painstakingly created in a lab, not in nature. Once created the mRNA can be quickly and cheaply replicated. It is then combined with other substances and injected into a human where it makes its way into some of your cells, the cytoplasm, and uses the cell’s machinery to produce the spike protein. The spike protein mimics the Covid virus and triggers the immune response.

The technology involved is absolutely amazing and it is the future, but it is also largely untested and carries risk, as does any medical procedure. As another poster said, evaluate the risks and make your choice. The Pfizer vax gets into the cell’s nucleus and affects the DNA which is more worrisome. There are certainly risks involved either way.

It is likely that the disease itself was manufactured. Why in hell was the US government funding Gain of Function research? It is possible that this whole pandemic was planned.

    1) Kill off a bunch of old people weighing down the economy.
    2) Get to do large scale mRNA production, testing and research.
    3) Expand government power and control.

    Too Tall and Pete,

Thank you for helping to clarify a lot of what I am thinking about this Wuhan flu. It tracks very closely to my own thoughts. Virology was not one of my strongest knowledge bases. I have been struggling to upgrade my education on these scientific fields of study for a layperson. It was fortunate that I have had some training in this from when the Post Office had to deal with Anthrax, and from some biological terrorism training I had.

Well, I am almost 70 (I say it that way since wife is from Taiwan and doesn’t like to say ages that end in 9), overweight, diabetic, just had a heart valve replaced, basically died on an operating table once. My personal decision was to get the shot.

As Brent and I know full well, we were part of the line up the kids in school for the mandatory polio vaccine, which was also rushed out in an earlier time, before the FDA decided decades of testing was required before a vaccine would be approved for use. We’ve seen what happens when a vaccine is available and folks don’t use it.

Back in December 2020, I got the pneumonia shot. Figured at my age that was a prudent thing. Did not get the flu shot, since I’ve only had two in my entire life and never had the flu.

Being almost that number starting with a 6 and ending with a 9, overweight, diabetic, and have medicine controlled a-fib, I also chose to get the Moderna shots when they became available here.

No reaction whatever. Three months after the second shot, no reaction whatever. Just like taking the other vaccines out there, a miniscule portion of the population will have adverse reactions. That tiny percentage is not enough to frighten me out of a chance to protect myself.

My choice. Your choice is your choice. Just don’t try to frighten me away from a vaccine with “it ain’t tested enough.” Been there for less tested vaccines, and I’m still here.

I even remember the liquid they put on it was pink 😉
They set up in the entryway stairwell of the two-room schoolhouse and we went past them, got our sugar cube and went to class.
Funny how I can recall that so vividly 60 years on, now ask me where I put the receipt for my six month old glasses when I’m doing the taxes……

The Salk injection in 1955-56 (I don’t remember exactly) and the Sabin sugar cube in 1961. In Army Basic in 1965, we all got them both, many of the draftees for the first time.

(How was that 60 years ago when I can remember almost all of my twenty classmates’ names while I can’t remember why I went from the living room to the bedroom and end up standing there like an idiot?)

Sugar cubes passed around in cups like treats for the whole class, except one sad boy, Danny. Didn’t know why but now I’m guessing his folks were early anti-vaxer’s or religious adherents.

Don’t nobody never even think about trying to tell me that one and this one bear any resemblance in any fashion in any way.

I don’t get the annual flu shot despite pressure from various levels of government to do so because I’ve reacted to it in the past… and the reaction was as bad as the flu…

From everything I’ve seen about the assorted formulations of experimental drugs being offered to fight the Chyna Virus, there’s more risk to getting the jab than to getting the virus.

With the amount of hyperbole, dishonest manipulation of data and outright fear mongering going on, it’s fairly clear the “covid opportunity” is more about testing public control than public health.

The only question remaining in my mind is whether the Chinese Communist Party released this bio-weapon accidentally or purposefully. Anyone who doesn’t believe the CCP would deliberately infect their own people to provide obfuscation for malicious intent doesn’t understand how communism works.

“…whether the Chinese Communist Party released this bio-weapon accidentally or purposefully” – whether the release in Wuhan was on purpose is not known (to the public, yet) but that the CCP purposefully let it spread internationally via air travel is a certainty. The question is whether that was done in collusion with the Democrat “Remove Trump By Any Means Necessary” plotting. One’s worst suspicions are certainly justified.

The mRNA part of the “vaccine” has a very short lifespan of less than a few hours.
How is that supposed to give IMMUNITY to the Covid virus when immunity provided from a vaccine normally is about a month?
