Check your legs, Skye. See which one is longer.
That’s the one Zed is pulling.

Didn’t Skye have eyes for Toly at one point? I’m surprised they’re getting on so well.

IIRC, it was more than “eyes for” ‘Toly… but that was before Naomi was introduced into the story-line, so she may not be aware of the situation…

After bathing Spot, rename him Honkie …

That wash recipe turned my hair white and the other kids started calling me Whitey, especially the dark kids. The sun darkened the skin some though, along with the surf and wave riding. Surfing the puns was fun. It was all good.

Depends on whether it’s a top load or a front load. The front loaders get more of a beating with the kids. Top loaders might have a problem with balance, though, if you only put one in there at a time.

Now, the real question is… machine tumble dry or hang on a line?

(And, I don’t recall the kid’s name being Spot. I thought it was Hugo.)

OT: I wish our political masters would release us from house arrest. Two things I’d like to do.
    1) I’d like to be able to get a haircut. I haven’t had my hair this long in years. I’m getting really shaggy.
    2) A week from today is the wife’s birthday. I’d really like to be able to take her out for a nice, sit-down dinner.
it’s the little things you miss most, isn’t it?

Haircut … please don’t make me more depressed. I’m tempted to try to cut mine myself but under normal conditions I’d screw it up. With one arm and more surgery today for another detached retina, I think my only option would be to shave it all off.

And speaking of hair, what the heck is that slicked back ‘do Zed’s sporting. Not attractive, mes amis, not attractive at all.

I bought a set of clippers over 20 years ago. Haven’t paid for a haircut since. Some jobs look better than others, but it always grows back.

“…it always grows back…” the best thing about a bad haircut.

A bigger problem for me is, no matter how well it’s cut it grows back a little grayer each time. When I renewed my driver’s license last year, there were four major changes. 1) I took the paperwork in to get my Gold Star, (I’m such a good boy) 2) the state will now mark your license picture with the word “Veteran” if you bring your DD-214, 3) for the first time in my life I HAVE to wear corrective lenses while driving, (I always just wore them before) and 4) they listed my hair color as GRAY.

As Mick Jagger said “What a drag it is getting old…”

I wonder if I’ll HAVE to wear glasses too on my next renew. The astigmatisms have worsened…

A mentor / friend of mine says 1) getting old ain’t for the faint of heart and 2) if you’re gonna be dumb you better be tough.

Friend from church is a hairstylist, with very little income at the moment. She cuts hair by appointment and cut mine yesterday; feels & looks great. We are both high-risk for the Wuhan Flu (me-age, her-health), but we used minimal precautions and got it done. Paid her 10x what my usual cut costs… that felt great! Blessings!

Please tell her to be very careful! If her state has closed the salons and businesses, she’s taking clients, she could lose her license.
