I’d be inclined not to be so lenient. They’re already on their second chance.

“It is sad to note that, as the government succeeds in preventing me from pleading my case in court, they demonstrate that no other patriot accused in the future can expect a fair trial. As that becomes widely accepted as fact, future subjects of arrest by federal forces will likely choose to resist… The reason only four officers died at Waco is because when the officers ran out of ammo and were forced to retreat the residents let them. Such restraint and compassion should never be expected again.”

As above, I was reminded of the Waco mistake (letting them go) but also the Ron White riff “I didn’t know how many of them it would take… to kick my ass…. but I knew how many they were gonna use.”
They are setting up a lose/lose situation, If only the “enforcers” would realize they are being seen as disposables by the ivory tower types, and have more in common with those they are told to go after than those telling them. III%

It never ceases to amaze me when the authoritarian leftists argue for “common sense” gun control as if they’ve a shred of common sense.

Mind you, I’ve always thought common sense was like underarm deodorant… those who need it worst rarely do so & there’s no polite way to point it out.

And that looks like lots of common sense gun control happening right there.

Well. I should have just stated the obvious. But, no. I had to be circumspect, or something like that.
Someday we may get more reality told here than people can handle. But ‘we’ can, and will need. So I postulate.
I believe we do that, though sometimes not enough. I have lost contact with my face to face people when I moved.

Considering that there was a group of us as dumb yunguns that shot each other with BB guns, including at night…
I personally do not like a light or a laser to give a position. We did have lights, but quickly quit using them because of that. You can see a laser source.
Take your time to be certain of the target.
Never had a chance to try infrared or night vision before I got rid of the two guns I had.

I believe that laser illuminators would serve as a final warning to oath-breaking LEOs and armed forces members that they are about to come under fire. As such they could give the ones carrying out the unlawful orders a final opportunity to determine just how committed they were to following those orders. If they stand down, they should be allowed to depart safely. Otherwise, the threat which they represent should be terminated immediately.

A laser target illuminator is different from either a regular flashlight or tracer rounds in at least two important ways:
      1) Unlike a flashlight, targeting lasers have a very small aperture and as such would only be visible if one were essentially looking down the beam path. They are essentially invisible to off axis viewing.
      and
      2) Unlike tracer rounds, laser light is not visible between source and target. A trcer round is visible for the entirety of its flight. Absent a great amount of atmospheric dust or fairly heavy smoke (in which case they would be useless anyway) a light beam is totally invisible.

I would hope that if such a scenario as Chris depicted did eventuate the troops would be given an opportunity to drop their weapons and withdraw peacefully. If the leader of the detail persisted then all resisters should open fire at a pre-arranged signal (such as the resistance leader opening fire?) thus terminating the detail. Those folks who elect to join the resistance MUST be prepared to strike without mercy. After word has circulated that detail leaders who withdraw peacefully will be spared while detail leaders who persist in carrying out unlawful gun confiscation orders will come under directed deadly fire (no warning shots), I believe that fewer LEOs and Armed Forces members will be willing to go on such details.

Make no mistake, folks, we’re looking at civil war, here.

It is a courtesy before hostilities start and for the early part of any hostilities when those in the opposition are mostly those who you wish to join your side. They are our brothers and sisters until shown otherwise. Best to win matters peacefully. Sun Tzu stuff.
The enemy has been at war with the USA for quite a while. Losing the presidency in the next election may finish their effort for generations. Or we may lose? The enemy has manipulated millions of deaths throughout the world. How many deaths have occurred as a result of the asymmetric armies they have poured into the USA and elsewhere. Every drunken driver murder, every gang murder, every drug death with Chinese drugs poured in the USA, every American child not born because the society decisions and economy is not as was promised, every suicide among veterans and unemployed white males because the world they were promised and did all they were asked to do no longer exists and is in so many ways mustered against them, and so on.

What people were predicting 30+ years ago is here. What people do with it, how many are convinced by ideas and good will make a difference. The American people are the ones that must be hit with the first shot (maybe many times) to maintain the high ground. We are natural ferocious killers that have controlled it. There will be time enough for the things that will weigh heavy upon our hearts later. They must act unconstitutionally first.
The ones that desire to act as Americans must be given the opportunities. Plural. Follow the law. Apply the law, including the foundation of the law which is the US Constitution.
The enemy has had a Great March through the institutions of the world and of our great nation. They did much of it by slow pressure. As much as we can get back that way, good. The other will come naturally as the other side sees that it will lose.

These popo wouldn’t get the advance warning courtesy of a laser. I can’t afford them at this time.
The lasers should be targeted at the weakest point, the head/eyes and hips. Head and hips, hips and head.
And make them drop their armor, guns, helmets, and all other accessories and accoutrements before walking out. Leave the popo their clothes and boots, no further embarrassment then minimally necessary. Embarrass too much, and the enemy will return with a vengeance.
    Thus ends today’s lessons.
Now sally forth and keep thy powder dry.

Pelvic shots. Instantaneous 100% Pk for mobility, and permanently combat ineffective.

The wounded become an unsustainable drain on the medical resources of your opponents, and a continuous source of communal infections of diseases most U.S. doctors, perhaps read about at some time, but have never seen.

The end result is that your enemy is forced to murder their own wounded, which does wonders for their morale and esprit de corps.

It’s pointless to shoot at Brown Shirts because there will always be more of those who crave the power and authority without accepting responsibility. “Just following orders”. It’s the megalomaniac giving the orders that is the problem.

That’s why 4th GW is implemented.
Yes, shoot the storm troopers enough to defend self and (extended) family.
But the primary target should be those close to the top leaders, the bodyguards, lieutenants and captains that protect, carry out and pass along the “general’s” orders.

If you feel strongly enough about your rights to protest on the Capitol steps don’t pretend. If you can be legally, openly armed then do so. And carry heavy.
Repressives like Murphy are posturing about AR’s and AK’s, they need to see and understand how many major caliber 500 and 1000 yard rifles are “out there”.
They and their Regressive Dependocrats are all about appearances, They need to see and understand what is dangerous not to their agenda but their individual “safety”.
In the meantime they have already announced their “conspiracy to violate Constitutional rights under color of law”, there need to be hundreds of RICO lawsuits filed naming Murphy and every politician who has signed on to sponsor their bills and the Attorney General needs to be swamped with criminal complaints and demands for action.

Any sworn officer that stoops to carry out any such unconstitutional seizure attempt deserves any incoming response in whatever form it takes. I had to make such a choice in Summer 1992 as a sheriff’s detective in Kalifornistan, and did not hesitate–I told the lackeys I worked for that military-pattern self-loading rifles were the most deeply-protected of all arms described by the 2nd Amendment’s text, and that I had conscientious objections to participation in their assault weapons seizure attempts. I backed that up by publishing an article in the June 1992 issue of a mass-market magazine with details about how the game would be played. It was an EPIC FAIL, with several contacted parties using almost verbatim text from my article to stymie the efforts. It was a high point of my career, in my estimation. It destroyed my promotability permanently, but I can look in the mirror each morning and not see a fascist–a far more valuable thing than title and pay raise. F–k ’em, I was looking for work when I found THAT job, and told them exactly that. I retired in 2005, unreconstructed and unbowed. And at the same rating I held in 1992. Still a ‘win’.

The history that they don’t teach is quite instructive.

The British defeated the Boers by sweeping their families into concentration camps. During the American Civil War federal troops depopulated Western Missouri two counties deep to deny food and shelter to Confederate irregulars. In both cases worked because the interning forces were not native to the region.

Governor Northam proposes to use native Virginians against other Virginians. Northam has forgotten, never learned or is incapable of understanding that Virginia was the hotbedof the American Revolution and the Confederacy.
These idiots think they are safe. If the shooting starts some will go hunting for Northam and anyone elected in the recent election and their families and their friends. Virginia does not have enough police and military to keep their politicians safe and prosecute a war against its citizens.
Have some fun. Send holiday greetings to these plotters from various historical & fictional militiamen groups. No threats; just seasons greetings. The smart ones will realize that people know where they live.

Watching Fox News Sunday, James Comey basically admitting to Chris Wallace he is an incompetent hack who didn’t know what his agency was doing. ‘I trust the senior staff under me to take care of these things.’ And otherwise this guy couldn’t be trusted to remember the details of his own wedding vows. ‘Yes, accidental mistakes were made, but the Horowitz Report confirmed the FBI is an honest if flawed agency that treats people impartially and fair.’

Where are the IR laser sights? There’s enough unseen dust and fibers floating in the air that the eggheads should be able to build equipment to capture the stray red or green photons and highlight the path back to the source.

We’re at the razor’s edge of now-emerged tech where mass-produced drone swarms can be at the forefront, carrying flashbangs and grenades and incendiary devices. Handheld and drone-mounted lasers can start fires inside a house from the outside. Soon there won’t be visible people that can be asked to back off, maybe no people at all. What will we do then, pull a Biden and keep shooting shotguns into the air? Red flag alert!

We can not and should not stop technology. What we can do and what this thread is all about is stopping those who would implement it against us.

      • December 15, 2019 at 2:10 pm

Sure, they’re wondering about deploying the autonomous Murderbots. But we also have immersive video games and real-time graphics generation. So fuzz up the video so it ain’t too real, display friendly/target/noncom markers, slave a battle robot to an appropriate computer system, then plop a teenager in a chair with a controller and let them rack up points.

Heck, it could be like a Harry Potter fantasy on the ground, just point your drone swarm controller rod at a target and say “Attack, my minions!” Warfare can be entertaining when it’s just a game.

      • December 15, 2019 at 2:48 pm

Well, hope springs eternal. But learned behavior has to start with giveafuck, and them that do shouldn’t click.

True of tech that it is adoptable and adaptable to gameplaying morphing to reality, as illustrated at Columbine, Sandy Hook, and Parkland et al. That, and the tech attacks, are micro and macro of the same root and ending and defending against it begins there, with the products of a Godless, immoral, warped society but ultimately those whose agenda all of that serves.

The internet have to reboot and I live in a strong cable system area. WIFI drop phone calls. Smart phones that are alternately dumb or doing something you did not tell it to do.
Electronics/hardware/software can foul up way beyond human control. Then there is programmer/operator error.

    ah yes.
Richmond would have a serious problem with 4G warfare.
    by the numbers…
there are 12 cell phone towers serving the Richmond area
there are 8 buildings thru which 100% of the internet data is routed
there are 4 major highways suppling all the food
there are 3 high voltage powerlines supplying all the power to the city

if the national guard is busy guarding cell phone towers, internet routers, highway overpasses, and thousands of power line poles, there will be little time for gestapo manuvers.
and if they can still manage it, then there is always the water system, sewer system, street lights, and a hundred other “little” things that make life in a city livable

Northam and his merry band of leftists are finding out that it is one thing to propose a law, another to pass it, and then comes the hard part: enforce it against a populace that is armed and includes most of the local law enforcement.

Virginians (for the most part) will avoid the police and certainly would be very reluctant to fight the NG. That said, the first on the list will be the politicians and bureaucrats who passed the laws and give the orders. There are quite literally, thousands of Virginians capable and willing to make 500-800 meter shots. The fun part is that the ones who will be active, are not talking and are as inconspicuous as a blade of grass in the lawn.
We are drawing the line. Are the leftists willing to put their lives on that line, for their socialist cause? I truly hope not.

Sorry for length Chris, but this piece written by a reformed leftist politician about the awakening of Hong Kong and reprinted from The Smallest Minority blog could not be more to the point of this post…
    ——————————————————————-
Remember, over the period from 1933 to 1945 the Nazi regime alone murdered approximately 12,000,000 people. In the United States, at our current rate of criminal homicide, it would take 695 years to kill as many people as the German government did in twelve. The Soviet Union? By one estimate between 1917 and 1987, that government killed approximately 62,000,000. Communist China? Between 1949 and 1987, 76,000,000. (Who knows how many since, with the Uyghurs and Hong Kong.)

Individuals kill retail. Governments do it wholesale. As 9th Circuit Judge Alex Kozinski wrote in one of his best dissents:
All too many of the other great tragedies of history – Stalin’s atrocities, the killing fields of Cambodia, the Holocaust, to name but a few – were perpetrated by armed troops against unarmed populations. Many could well have been avoided or mitigated, had the perpetrators known their intended victims were equipped with a rifle and twenty bullets apiece, as the Militia Act required here. If a few hundred Jewish fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto could hold off the Wehrmacht for almost a month with only a handful of weapons, six million Jews armed with rifles could not so easily have been herded into cattle cars.

My excellent colleagues have forgotten these bitter lessons of history. The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime routinely do. But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late. The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed – where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.

The residents of Hong Kong understand that now. And apparently some Americans are starting to grasp it, too.

I don’t comment often but I did hear a very good point the other day from I think Matt Braken. He said not to mass in Richmond as this is the vipers pit. Like Charlottesville he thinks that the leftists will pull a false flag event like having someone shoot into a crowd of counter protesters killing some soys and pink hatters then fading into the crowd. This would immediately be spun by the MSM to turn people against the peaceful protesters for 2nd amendment rights.
As per his suggestion he suggested a rally in say Culpepper county not Indian territory, that way the sheriffs could control the event.
On a final note, I have a friend who was working for law enforcement in Arizona, they were starting to press the cartels when suddenly in their mailboxes recent pictures of the families and themselves started showing up. He transferred here to Florida saying he wasn’t going to sacrifice his family to a government that wasn’t going to protect his people. With the amount of phones available today a few pictures sent to the Richmond criminals would speak volumes. Just thinking out loud.

That would also handle rail, as no trucks to load to.
I think the cities would get the message with empty store shelves by day three.
Best to do it to State Capital cities. and DC!

Hmm, someone has caught a case of red dot fever… Avoided that one myself despite a pointy haired boss’s insistence.

Time passes, some things don’t change much until they do.

In example, what’s changed other than some names since this came out in 1994: https://totseans.com/totse/en/politics/right_to_keep_and_bear_arms/gunedit.html

Yep! I can still the dancing red lights, the ones that I could see, dancing across my chest as I froze looking through a glass door at 8 plus of the latest city’s ‘finest’ pointing their pistols at me. It could have been more. I then got the standard “FREEZE!” and “OPEN THE DOOR NOW!” orders yelled at me several times by different officers. Which order do I die to?
I lived. There were my elderly father and aunt in the home a and another. Elite area then and now. Not so much when a kid. No justification for that response, until I heard my sister in laws drunken 911 call much late. If she had more than half a brain I would excoriate her even more than I have.
Fortunately, I knew the sergeant when he arrived.
I was a complete innocent bystander on that one.
The police did take one .40 pistol that was outside on the property in another person’s vehicle.
I usually push these things that are disturbing deep in my memory, but was this picture a trigger? (snicker)
I chose to FREEZE!, and then asked quietly when I could move. Please instruct me I asked.
Girl got shot in her bedroom a couple years back in my new county in a city when 4 officers dressed like that did a SWAT wellness check when her ex-boyfriend called 911 and met the cops and told them how to get in as she had kicked him out way before that. Ex boyfriend said that she was armed and wanted to commit suicide by cop.
She got charged with 6 counts of attempted murder. It’s a wonderful world.
False flags can be on the personal level also.

Those ninjas in black aren’t “peace officers”. They’re LEOs, Law Enforcement Officers. Big difference in training, bearing, and attitude.

I wonder if anyone has contacted the Sheriff that said he would deputize everyone in his county about starting a statewide Re-Call now.

I wonder if he would deputize a patriot in New Mexico, long distance?
