From Twitchy: Brit Hume: Spot the huge fallacy in the Washington Post’s profile of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman

Vindman was the Ukranian-descent guy so concerned about Trump’s call. Hume’s tweet:
This from the article: “he was deeply troubled by what he interpreted as an attempt by the president to subvert U.S. foreign policy…” There is a huge fallacy in this. Anyone know what it is?

Isn’t it terrible when the President subverts the policy set by…?

President JFK did stuff like talk policy with foreign leaders and diplomats and such all of the time.

He leaked all sorts of stuff, but he was the President so he could do that stuff.

Foggy Bottom has for decades set most of our international relations/policy. Just about every president has drawn his foreign policy advisors from the pool of folks employed there or “educated” by those employed there. It’s the dream of the United Nations – let the experts handle it.

I am happy to see Trump overturn this apple cart. If only he could find a way to eliminate their positions, the Democrats would have the unemployment numbers they’ve been hoping for.

This was pretty stunning….funny how the libs had no problem with Obama changing years of foreign policy to appease Iran, abandon Iraq, and generally further the aims of Islamic terrorists everywhere…but nope, Trump can’t subvert foreign policy?

      Really?

I am still trying to figure out how it’s okay that an entire DEMOCRATIC Administration used their full intelligence and law enforcement apparatus to investigate a political candidate of the other party (cuz Trump was getting set up way before Nov 2016, no doubt to shut him up after Hillary won) but a President can’t ask a foreign government to investigate the corruption of a prior Administration’s OFFICIAL conduct…since Lunch Bucket Joe was ACTUALLY VP when he was running around lining his kid’s pockets.

And remember all the whining about Trump’s kids profiting off their dad’s official status? Heard any accusation of that? CREDIBLE ones? Nope me neither.

Said to say, maybe a few active duty officers need to find themselves not the same gallows as a few intel and law enforcement types. WE DIDN’T VOTE FOR YOU!

Mention of pipers leads me to thinking of Celtic pipers, or this:
“And it’s whispered that soon if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forests will echo with laughter”

Absolutely right. A classic call to Utopia.

Also, a classic draw into a cult.

It was once said that the old Soviet Union would be most dangerous when the Communist gangsters running it came to believe that they could get away with anything.

To judge by the behavior of Schiff, Pelosi, Brennan, Comey, et al, I submit that the gangsters running the government here have reached that exact point.

“We rule. We will destroy you if you do not obey. What do you think you’re going to do about it?”

Always be wary of those who admire dictatorships- and Jacobins.

It’s an effective tool in the long run, playing that tune, drawing the rats irresistibly over the cliff…

Myself I might choose a different pipe, measured in gauge and emitting a piercing tune of rat shot in the key of 00, no need for a cliff, just a pit.

Either way, as long as it kills them.

Hey don’t warehouse that scum within rafting distance of my state. That place is only good for prisoners you can beat or torture something out of value out of. But they love commie Cuba so just turn them loose there, give them free range and permanently ban them from re-entry. Capital punishment done different.

I for one fervently hope that the indictments of the criminal co-conspirators in the “media” outnumber the number of Deep State indictments. They don’t even deserve to be called the scum of the earth. Had they pulled the same stuff on Washington, Hamilton or Jefferson they would have been hanged with glee.

So IF the coup personnel, the presstitutes and any other assorted crazies can not throw President Trump out of office, they turn loose the Skittle army?
Again, do any of them ever consider that the many millions of people that voted for President Trump are just not going to sit back and say: OK. Go ahead you can take over the Presidency. You want it, so you can just do whatever you want.
That just might be a trigger event they will not like.
