Californicators started moving to Oregon and Washington in the mid 80’s because of taxes and bad policies in the mid to late 80’s.

They brought their politics with them.

Today, on the western slopes to the shore , you have the same idiocy as they left and exemplified by Portandishu and Seattlegrad,

The areas are ruined by their politics and they outnumber the rural areas to the east just like the coastal areas of California outnumber the rural areas in the central and east parts of that state.

They will try and do the same to the rest of the Western States and Texas.

Texas (and all states) should implement laws similar to the immigration laws circa 1920s/30s, that out-of-state “transplants” have to: have a useful skill in order to get a job and be able to support themselves; assimilate and learn the local language; can’t vote in local & state elections for “x” number of years (I said laws “similar” to; and can’t stop out-of-staters from voting in Federal elections)

Better still, make the would-be future residents pass the US citizenship test before they can settle in _any_ State. That by itself would nearly eliminate the Woke. Just ask Mark Steyn.

I’ve been saying for years that the trick is to set up a highway check station on the AZ/CA border, similar to the Fruit Nazi stations CA sets up going west. Give everybody going east the opportunity to buy an AR-15 for $50. If they decline, turn them around and send them back home.

Give them the opportunity to show their own AR-15. The gun in the console. The shotgun in the trunk. The NRA sticker on the bumper. Then they’re good to go.

You have to take into account that they’re coming from California, so if they don’t already own an AR15, they get that much benefit of the doubt.

They should be required to live in Odessa for 3 years just to qualify as Texas residents, imports from LaLaLand. And no trips to nice places like Alpine or Denton or the Big Thicket, and certainly no Big Cities like Dallas.

Third Ward, Houston, is where they should stay for a few weeks to fully understand the results of bad policy over the course of 50 years. Then, if they survive, they can move to any conservative enclave to be fully immersed in “leave us the f…k alone and let us and our families thrive on our own merits” culture, to get the gist of their new (potential) home. Upon full acceptance, they are free to move about, but if they ever start that communist bs chatter anywhere, deport them back from whence they came.

“Witch dunking” … Trial by ordeal via water was associated with the witch hunts of the 16th and 17th centuries. It was believed that the accused who sank was innocent, and those who floated were guilty.

I have suggested a Constitutional amendment allowing states to set up residence requirements. Say a ten year ‘acclimation period’ in which the new fellow cannot vote in state or local elections. Give them time to see why the place they have selected to settle in works and discover that perhaps, just perhaps, those locals know what they are doing.

As a 5th Generation Californian, one who went over the Tofu Curtain’s razor wire about 7 years ago, I’ll point out that California used to be a Conservative state. We gave the Nation Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Pete Wilson, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood etc, etc, etc.

That California was killed 30 or so years ago by the government teacher and employee unions and their Democrat benefactors. Let that be a warning to the other states.

And if you’re accepting refugees from Venezuela, you should damn well be accepting the political refugees from the Grate State of Confusion. I’ve still got to get my people out.

      I like it.

Trump cannot hire all of the enemies next time. People will not support that. Some may have been needed. Many then took the credibility to fight the President’s further efforts.
A stronger effort to protect those who work at his efforts is needed.
Gut the DoJ. Purge them like they purged any that did not follow their beliefs. Same throughout the government.
Also do not blindly enrich the rich. They are not the true strength of the USA. More than one production source results in a strong society economically, and individually when those working the jobs are considered.
That traitors consider a global work force that they desire to use to destroy the lives of those who lose jobs or are only able to work at unlivable except below poverty wages, is traitorous. We need strong businesses and workers and families. From here, not from anywhere else. I do not mean strong huge soviet style captive businesses that result from massive consolidation and the destruction of small business by the covid and other rules and controls.
But all is too much lie the sarcasm article by the Babylon Bee that really appears to be true reporting.
      https://href.li/?https://babylonbee.com/news/if-elected-representative-pledges-to-spend-every-minute-fighting-to-get-reelected

I have told the story of the communists and the Frankfurt School People leaving Europe before and after WW2. I told of Princeton accepting them whole hog as their philosophy school was gutted and going nowhere then. They branched out across the USA. Marcuse and others went to California and thought dour thoughts about how they could destroy the Paradise they lived in where they fled from execution in Germany. Some occupies a house near the beach in Malibu during that time into the 1960’s at least. California’s destruction is what I believe one part of their results were. These were intelligent, though evil, mostly men. (Think polymorphous pan-sexuality as one of their teachings meant to attract the young and desirous of instant gratification. It worked.Movements have undercurrents of thinking people in them. When the people thinking are good, we get good results. When the people are like the Frankfurt School and its Princeton descendants in thought, we get bad.
So now we see the infection of the mental virus spreading vastly.
We see it. Wee feel it. We suffer from what it has resulted in.

The loss by a Supreme Cort action (state or US?) ended a majority passed proposition California Constitutional Amendment that denied benefits to illegally present foreign citizens. So the welfare costs, medical costs, other costs destroyed California’s economic vitality. Emergency Rooms closed as hospitals would go broke if they kept one at their hospital. All the costs drained the budgets. The huge state also used means to pay union employees huge sums at work and retirement. Governments were often burdened with overpaying a currently employed employee, a retired employee after 20 years, and a new set of retired employees the next twenty years.
Very costly. People fled the taxes and huge costs of living in California.
