Com’on, ya gotta give Jo props for trying, within the limits of her experience interacting with humans. And she isn’t groping, either.

If you’re talking to me, I’m in Canada… but my fiance is a Texan and I’m working toward becoming a snowbird… summers in the north; winter in the south.

Creepy Uncle Joe’s popularity proves how thoroughly political power protects a democrat from the results of his actions or words.
Do you want to go into politics, but worry about your history and your preferences?
No problem, if you carry The Shield, (D). Put it after your name, get into power, and stop worrying.

Current campaigning is amazing. Back around 2008, 2012, even 2016, there were popular older candidates who were yet so old they were expected to likely be one-termers.

Now for 2020 many of the same are still around, still running, and looking surprisingly vibrant. Biden would be starting at 78 yet is considered highly competitive. And Bernie is still fiery, with Pelosi looking stronger.

Are we witnessing the emergence of the Stepford Candidates?

If there was such a thing as an actual unbiased and witty newspaper anymore, we’d see the screamingly funny headline:

With advances in medicine I expect the situation to only get worse with time.
That’s why I advocate staggered terms in office, that is simply that an office holder cannot directly succeed him/herself in that office.
It’s better that simple term limits because a really good person can keep coming back and it clears the way for new blood to try their hand.
It also tends to limit corruption a bit. After all, a lot can be hidden behind the desk of a perpetual incumbant.

Cognitive Dissonance is a hallmark of the Left. Some live long enough to realize this and drift Right, others don’t.
WaPo on the other hand is deliberately pandering to the Left with Rage Inducing Click-Bait just for the advertising bucks. They really don’t care about things like “right” and “wrong” or “truth” and “lies”, just whatever it takes to get the attention they don’t deserve.
