Don’t matter, someone will go by the initials and call him Swo, then later his friends will call him Swopoke.

Still might be better off than the kid named after two Supreme Court justices.

They got it from the UFO contactees. To them, a Lightbringer is an extraterrestrial Ascended Spirit come to Earth to bring us enlightenment and lead us to membership in the Galactic Confederation…

…As a low-tech agricultural planet supplying organic veggies to the UFOnauts while they zoom around the Universe in their magical flying saucers.

Seems to me we get the short end of the stick in that deal.

I notice she’s doing the puzzle in pencil. Which is neither good nor bad, it just “is”.

And many of us wish that the New Yawk Slime would hurry up and FINISH folding.
I would bid $1 to buy it, just so I could fire everybody, sell off the assets, and dissolve the entire corporation. I would keep the rights to the name, so no one else could use it without paying me the BIG BUCKS. And even then, I might say no, just to be a mean hearted capitalist pig. hehehehe.

Ok, ok, I might bid up to $2.50. But that’s my top offer.

I’d do something far more cruel: I’d fire all of the reporters and editors, then hire all-new reporting staff from Townhall, Breitbart, Daily Wire, One America News, etc. and turn it into the *Conservative* paper of record. The wailing and gnashing of teeth from the left would be glorious.

      REPLY
      • December 9, 2018 at 11:59 am

I like that Nth, and I’ve often wondered why conservatives have not bought a few of the big fake news orgs which right now should be pretty cheap, and crank out the same kind of one-sided propaganda as they do in reverse; maybe call them NYT180 and NBC180…That could and should come from the grassroots.

Then the real news would sound a lot better to the left, coming straight from the twitter feed of The Donald. And if they try to censor it, don’t try to buy that hot air balloon, just let it deflate and establish an independent POTUS feed …tell me every deplorable AND every proglodyte wouldn’t subscribe to that. I’m not tech oriented enough to know if that’s something DT could relatively easily do? But if so he absolutely should.

As I understand it Twitter is slowly sinking, and if it weren’t for DJT it would be gone by now.
The MSM depends on his tweets to stoke their numbers via the Trump Bump. Ted Koppel said as much.
Maybe the POTUS is just waiting for the right moment to pull his account.
I suppose it would be too much to hope that the MSM couldn’t pull out of the resulting tailspin.

Here’s a thought: libertards don’t want girls/women to have children, so “birth control” in various forms is emphasized.

Now, what happens to a species when it fails to reproduce?

Meantime, the rest of us just go on about our business and hope that the implosions don’t spray too wide. NYT still trying to live on “subscriptions”…. yes, that will really keep it going… into the dumpster.

Somebody help an old man out here. The “folded” part about the New York Slimes I get. It’s the “too” part that escapes me. In other news, I made meatloaf yesterday but didn’t want the usual gloppy ketchup/brown sugar glaze for some sweetness. So instead of bread or cracker crumbs I used graham cracker crumbs and Oh God is this stuff good it’s better than it was yesterday.

Somedays I’ll just go meatless, usually because it’s quicker to make something without.

And somedays I’ll go all-meat, usually after making a big roast or otherwise a lot. Helps to purge the built-up carb and veggie toxins.

Try a beef roast in a Crockpot with assorted veggies, and the broth is beef broth with about 2 to 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire, 1/4 cup of red wine, garlic powder, thyme and oregano, and season the roast with mesquite smoke seasoning or steak seasoning. And leave it alone while it cooks. NO TOUCHING!!

Now cook it on High for 6-8 hours, and that roast will just fall apart.

Hey, like that comment of yours, kadaka. If you don’t mind I do believe that I’d to borrow it to use myself….. Turning 60 in a few months.

Oh, and you guyz and galz talking about food stuff, are making me down-right hungry now. Just opened a can of Clam Chow-duh soup, but youz got me wishing I went with a London Broil cooked at low heat over a long period. You know, “so tender that a baby could eat it.” That’s what my ole Army buddy Eric Perry, who’s an amateur gourmet chef, calls it when he roasts any kind of meats. So that any old farts, er I mean old folkies, er I mean Seasoned Citizens (like Rush always says), who don’t have any teeth like me, and can’t stand wearing dentures, can still enjoy a good meat meal!!!

Keep up the good work, Chris. You make my door (or night, depending when I view daybyday) often like nothing else does. Stay safe friend.

By the way, how does 1 add an avatar pic like Pamela, Delilah and the rest????

    Right; Lucifer.

To an upper level leftist/Marxist/Fascist/Progressive authoritarian, and especially to a papist or a Jesuit General, the “Lightbringer” or “Illuminated One” is always Lucifer, AKA “The Wronged One”, or “Covering Cherub”, who they see as the rightful lord and savior, and so they view God the oppressor.

That Obama was literally referred to as “Our Lord and Savior” by one of the journalist-minions is not forgotten. That was a thumb of the nose to Christians.
