Chauvin will likely walk on appeal (with the current courts, nothing is assured), but being a cop just became a lot more dangerous and, like the military, a lot of the good ones will walk.

They will also have a score to settle with the Left and, just like you don’t start an argument with a guy who buys ink by the barrel, you don’t antagonize people whose profession makes firearms the tools of the trade.

“…you don’t antagonize people whose profession makes firearms the tools of the trade.” That applies to a lot of pissed-off folks that wore the blue OR wore the green. Just because we’ve been peaceful doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten how to be violent!

Agreed……and while generally we don’t like violence per se, unfortunately we’re very, VERY good at it.

We have apparently either forgotten how and when to be violent, or we are afraid to.

I’m down with the first two Naomi, to the degree it occurs naturally. But that last one? Fuck “equity”…that’s like “systemic” as referenced yesterday; that shit don’t mean what you want it to mean. You want equity? Earn it.

And Sam, are you talking about Cali? 🙂

I wonder where Naomi got that shirt she’s almost wearing.

…and it’s not just Hispanics in California any more. Look at Michigan and Minnesota, and the “Star and Crescent” that’s growing ever larger in those states.

Equity, or equality? Both are something you EARN, it can’t just be given to you, or it has no real meaning.

Oh, equity CAN be given to you, but you’re not going to like it. It will be the equity of the Lowest Common Denominator, imposed by government. It will be the equity of poverty, privation, violence, and fear.

    Cool shirt. But free Chauvin?

He contributed wrongly and criminally and immorally to the death of that thug, so no.

But guilty of three kinds of murder? Pure and simple simpering white pussy fear.
Manslaughter of a lesser degree. Out in five, life totally fucked, but he would still have a life, while he definitely helped take the thug’s life. But would you want to be one of those jurors if they did that?

Irrelevant really to the desire to riot and burn some (more) shit down though, Does anybody think anybody gives a rat’s ass about the big dead thug? This will not satisfy them, it will encourage them to want -and to take- more. And when they do, what will you do?

Worst part? All just another weaponized and monetized diversion just like the ChiCom germ. Brilliant, evil warfare. We have one flank left.

“ He contributed wrongly and criminally and immorally to the death of that thug, so no.”

      So yes!
The autopsy contradicts what you are saying. In fact, no matter what it LOOKED like, the fact is Chauvin caused no damage to the neck or airway of the thug, who had already committed suicide by surpassing the LDL100 of the opiate of his choice by several multiples.
He was a dead man whining, but the officers still have a goal of going home so must restrain dangerous individuals.

I’d conclude that the strained look on the officers face was due more to the stress of keeping his weight off the thug than anything else.

Let’s stick to the facts. your eyes lie to you all the time, and when accompanied by a lying narrative that lie can appear true, but then the facts are determined and should make a difference.

Just as the narrative of officer Sicnick being “bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher “ was shown to be false, but the damage was done by the time the truth comes out.

The country is the real victim of these misrepresented deaths! And there is no justice in the law, it’s now just a game being played by lawyers and media.

“We’re about truth, not facts!” – Joe Biden

Apparently the truth is whatever they say it is. It’s going to be very dangerous under that type of rule.

Sorry Brother, while all the contributing factors you mention are true and the thug was a dead guy walking -or standing- but after he was subdued and no longer standing, double-cuffed and and hobbled, the knee on the neck for that extended period was not necessary and was a contributing factor all day long…Involuntary Manslaughter.

        From NOLO…

“Involuntary manslaughter often refers to unintentional homicide from criminally negligent or reckless conduct.”

It is due to “falling on deaf ears” the elephant int he room is no longer addressed? Why do we not expect our urban brethren to take personal responsibility for their lives anymore? Not to place African Americans on the spot as this is applicable to all ethnic groups, however statistics are readily available for this particular group. 70+% out-of-wedlock births, single parent households. We’ve spent trillions over the past 60 years in the “war-on-poverty” supposedly providing education and various community and social support programs. Yet we have 13 year olds running the streets with gangs and getting killed, we have George Floyd (RIP) high on who knows how may illegal drugs trying to pass counterfeit currency and getting into an altercation with law enforcement and subsequently passing due to personal choices and the results of said altercation (and resisting arrest.) When do we expect, no, demand people (of any color) take responsibility for themselves and not have the government take care of them?

      The Democrat goals succeeded.
Black Americans had a lower illegitimacy rate than others. More children who were black were born into and grew up in intact families. More Black Americans attended services every Sunday than other groups. People were safe in most Black American neighborhoods.
      That was in the 1950’3.
Then the Democrats went to work.
      We all suffered greatly.
Certain improvements that needed to be made to follow the US Constitution were perverted and we are where we are because of those perversions.

I hate to say it, but an immediate remedy to the Nation’s woes is to actually hunt down and destroy the MSM.
If it weren’t for the MSM’s bogus “coverage” the rioters would quite literally have no reason to riot that could sustain their numbers and thus their immunity from the law. The death of George Floyd would have rated a few seconds on air in Minneapolis on the day it happened and be entered on an extremely short statistical list of unarmed Blacks who died while resisting arrest. I doubt even his funeral would have made the news.
Of course the MSM is doomed to die on its own due to their well earned reputation of outright lies to the public and falling viewership, but far too many innocents will suffer horribly and die because of Corporate mendacity in the meantime.

The whole Chauvin Kangaroo-court conviction just provided an excuse for the corrupt AG Garland, at the behest of the criminal Biden regime, to now conduct a civil rights investigation of the Minneapolis police department. Why? The continued public demonization, e.g., via the corrupt DoJ, of “racist” local police departments will give cause to Leftist efforts to federalize of ALL police forces, giving the increasingly leftist, authoritarian state it’s own de facto Stazi/Gestapo. This is the extreme-LEFT’s endgame concerning US police forces.

That is a very astute observation and it has meanings to the individuals and to the police who respond.
Policing policies and what happens in them should be considered. The police actions need scrutiny to avoid some things. How is the public protected? What is tolerated? What is not tolerated? By whom? What is really important?
Why were their people ready to stir up further deaths? What rights do we have against them? What rights do they have? Specifically to the coup they have supported?

He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! ~ Mt. 13:37-43
