Right now the only color they have is green, so sick are they with envy.

But hey, they’ll always have Russia.

The latest version of the Progtard DildoCrats’ That Was The Week That Was reminds of one of the best Christmas movies of all time: Die Hard.

In particular, the line where NYPD Detective John McClane tells LAPD Deputy Chief Dwayne Robinson: “I’m not the one who just got (explicative for anal rape) on national TV.

That line perfectly describes their week.

It’s funny watching slurring SanFranNan blathering about how Trump is impeached forever and nothing Trump can do will ever remove that stain from his record.

In case I haven’t said it before here (and I think I did) this impeachment is an example of tribalism… an ancient practice called “counting coup” in which warriors seek to get one up on their enemies, whether that was by stealing women/children/horses/whatever… or using stealth to kill an enemy in a way that put the warrior at great risk of discovery and/or capture.

The stupid part is the Dems don’t even recognize they’ve devolved to this. Pathetic.

Oh, they know it, but they think it’s a higher state of consciousness. They’ve resented actual democracy since they were born, Raised on a pseudo-intellectual diet of everything from Plato to homeopathy, they genuinely believe that “tribal wisdom” is superior to rational thought, because it’s “mystical”.

And of course, in a tribal culture, they can rule as enlightened philosopher-kings. With death as the penalty for daring to disagree with them.

They want to destroy Western civilization, and re-create the long-dead Persian Empire, with themselves as the rulers.

And they wish they could kill anyone who tells them “you’re doing it wrong”.

Read a piece just yesterday about how a Repub majority House (a not-unlikely scenario come November) could pass a resolution to expunge the record and, at least to some extent, “remove the stain“. I think that would be a real hoot, don’t you?

What I am wondering is if Bernie is willing to be bought off again? He took the “shut-up houses”, and looks to set up financially. Is he a “True Believer” and now wants to win, and implement true socialism before he kicks. With the heart attack he should be feeling his own mortality. My thought is if they steal New Hampshire, like Iowa. Will he say piss on it, and switch his campaign to a full on Independent run. No delegates to worry about, just start running for President. Go from sea to shining sea preaching the socialist gospel and fund raising, as an Independent … California here I come with a banjo on my knee …. Go where the primaries aren’t and tap the coffers first.

Some are predicting that what this all leads up to is the dissolution of the Democratic Party.
        We should be so lucky.
The only way established Parties are dissolved in this country is for some new party to come along to vacuum up the pieces before the old one re-coalesces T-1000 like.

The problem is it is EXCEEDINGLY difficult for a 3rd party candidate to get a place on any state’s ballot. The two major parties (wings of the same rapacious bird, in all reality) have gotten the rules for getting onto the ballot written such that anyone not in one of those two parties has an almost impossible task. I don’t recall the actual numbers but I do know that no 3rd party candidate in modern times has ever appeared on the ballot in all the states. I also know that all any 3rd party candidate has done – EVER – is perform as a spoiler; splitting the vote for one or the other candidates. I do not believe that Willie Jeff would have gotten his first term if Ross Perot had not run. I also believe that AlGore would have run had Nader not siphoned off significant numbers of votes. Nader got over 97,000 in Florida alone, which was over 180 times Bush’s razor thin margin. I believe that an independent run by Bernie would pretty much guarantee Trump a second term assuming the continuing Dem shenanigans hasn’t already done so.

It is an almost impossible task, but the Libertarian Party did it 4 times (or 5 depending on who you count) “Historically, Libertarians have achieved 50-state ballot access for their presidential candidate four times: in 1980, 1992, 1996 (in 2000, L. Neil Smith was on the Arizona ballot instead of the nominee, Harry Browne)and most recently in 2016” I remember the celebration of the Libertarian party in 1980 the first time it was achieved.

The only successful third party is,currently known,as the Republican Party. It was Lincoln’s,who wanted union and abolition..maybe not in that order, but that’s not this discussion. Before that it was the landowners, capitalists, and business owners, capitalists, and anybody else who got to vote, sorta kinda…two parties for those who fell into two pretty broad groups..Dems were Jeffersonian, not so tied down to a strong central gummit, and the Feds,Hamiltonian who liked the idea of a central bank which not just tied but bolted down the gummit. Lincoln was a Fed,who won. Beat the Jeff’s like a drum…pretty much control the life and death and flow of everyday life. No? Ok,imho, then…what’s yours?
And consider:issues before “us”..health care,infrastructure,schools,debt,immigration/foreign-policy…any of these not at the door of gummit? Any not life and death?

True too about DT, what we said in ‘16 and ‘17 is he ran as a pragmatist to hijack the R infrastructure and bring the party and rinos and nevertrumpers within it to heel with RESULTS won with hardass street fighter methods while misdirecting and toying with the leftists like the BOSS he is.

Hondude: agree with you up to a point. From observation the Fed doesn’t bolt down the gov’t. to much of a degree. The earning public has been bolted down with the debt the gov’t. has spent the country into – we are ‘the lenders of last resort’ to the tune of 27 trillion, not the gov’t. The IRS as the enforcement arm isn’t going after the spenders but those who have to pay it back; when you earn it, spend it, save it, pass it on to your children, That money only covers the interest on those gov’t. bonds. When The Fed calls for payment on that chit we’ll in a similar position as the German gov’t. in the 1920’s. We’re in a better position politically than they were, their country was split between communists and the Republic.
As an aside, the leaders of the Frankfurt School of communism all came to the United states and found jobs in the government.
Other than that little tweak the rest of what you say is spot on.

Lincoln’s greenback was the first paper currency in the republic since the original continental folded. Backed by nothing but hopeful thoughts.
All fiat currency is doomed to hyperinflation and failure. The inflation is harder to see these days due to a fair portion not actually being more than digits in a computer.
