Not sure about the strategy behind the Texas initiative and I have always been underwhelmed by Abbott, but there’s a lot of states signed on and presumably some good people running them…but does it mean anything?

All I know is the game is getting tiresome.either blow the fraudsters out an air lock, or secede, some way. Not a Trump fanboy, dont know if he’s blundering thru this or playing 4-D chess, but dammit it’s time for something to HAPPEN….

“A fundamental principle of our representative democracy is. . . that the people should choose whom they please to govern them.”Powell v. McCormack, 395 U.S. 486, 547(1969)(internal quotation marks omitted). The people have chosen. But Texas, supported by 17 other states, asks this Court to overturn that choice … ”
    – No. Texas and the 17 ask the Court to affirm who the people have chosen, or to send that determination back to the State Legislatures to determine. The vote in those states was fouled by bad actors or by not following US Constitution based rules.

eviscerate states carefully calibrated election systems. =mail out gobs of ballots. accept ballots without signature verification, unobserved by bipartisan poll watchers sometimes by exclusion, blockage of view, saying the counting is stopped for various reasons, apparent counting of printed ballots, and more and more .. That is the carefully calibrated election sysetm designed to engage in a coup against the will of the citizen people of those states and against the will of the citizens of the USA.

“In response to the corona virus pandemic, states devised myriad ways to make voting safer and easier, while still preserving the sanctity of the electoral process. Many states expanded access to absentee voting ”
    – The established systems in past years were developed and worked because they had been worked out over the years and voters were educated as how it should be done. Safeguards were followed in the past. Those very safeguards are sworn by many to have been rejected and cast aside by various government officials, actions that were contrary to established state law many of them.

I consider this coup to be one of them acting, and then asking forgiveness after the transgressions have occurred. Nothing says that the illegal votes in those 6 states should override the legal votes in those states and the legal votes across the nation.
This is that action greatly feared by myself if they eliminated the state right to select the electors and a popular vote elected the President. Large or corrupt states could relax voting and vote counting to ensure that other than a valid living US citizen elected our President. Here the acts of bad actors overwhelm the votes of the good acting citizens. Unequal treatment of the voters votes will, and so far has been asserted to be valid by saying that All id well. Don’t look at the facts..
The ballots should not be questioned because the previous ballots in other years and other circumstances were OK withing small margins of error. Now this effort publicly mounted in 90 days or less is to be done without proper legal basis and in numbers vastly greater than ever done. And the state officials will determine new law nnot passed by states according to US Constitutional requirements.
They want the Chicago way, which produce JFK by vote fraud, to be allowed across the board because they say a state can determine its own rules, no matter that what they did under their new rules is unconstitutional. not even considering the massive vote fraud that also appears to have been added. If a state does not follow the rules as it was supposed to do, then its legislature or the state per the US Constitution must cast its electoral votes. The election itself has been tainted.
I am tired. I just read this. It needs rested lawyers to accurately and effectively and constitutionally refute this. I see this just on a first reading.
hey seem to rely on past performance in different situations to make this situation not worth having a case heard. They also point out the penalties for vote fraud. If penalties worked completely, there would be no crime.\, no criminals, no trials, no convictions, and no sentences.
At stake is tens of trillions of dollars of spending, the fate of free speech, the altering of the nation and the world, our US Constitution being shredded as effectively Pelosi, Harris, Shumer and others promise. The people need the value of a skilled look at the matter. The stakes are worth it. So, ‘This Court should grant, not deny, Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of complaint’
I hope that our Supreme Court follows the US Constitution. They appear to be a Court that would, and explain the decision.

When in the hell are we going to get term limits? Pelosi is 90 something and should have been gone years ago. But the ones in power will not vote for that. Shame. They get in and some say yes we need term limits but as soon as elected they reverse. Just pisses me off.

She and other’s can be voted out of office every two years. It is the people that keep sending them back time again. By allowing them to define “Safe Districts” where they run unopposed, we allow the loons to stay in power. The safe districts vote in the craziest of progressives. As Franklin said “it will rely on an informed electorate”, or word to that effect. The GOP-e lets then build their fortresses, for their good friends across the aisle. Our own damn fault.

Great blog! I have also read that PDJT will making all these lawsuits will allow him to file suit against all these corrupt agencies and get all his money back. I live in Ga and watched this happen-

“Using the COVID-19 pandemic as a justification, government officials in the defendant states of Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (collectively, ‘Defendant State’), usurped their legislatures’ authority and unconstitutionally revised their state’s election statutes,” Paxton’s complaint says. “They accomplished these statutory revisions through executive fiat or friendly lawsuits, thereby weakening ballot integrity.”

It was the lawsuits that happened after the 2018 election for Governor. Stacey Abraums sued the Secretary of State in civil court. Instead of going to court Sec. Raffensperger signed an agreement of sorts that said I am not admitting guilt but the accusations are correct, causing the lack of scrutiny in the verification of Georgia’s ‘Absentee Ballot’s’. It was an actual campaign by the SoS because of the lawsuit to send them out before the Primary using the CCP flu as an excuse.

So by having our Secretary of State by the balls, Stacey Abrams and the Fair Fight Action have basically allowed all the absentee ballots to get ‘verified’ with less scrutiny. It also caused us to go from you can vote today between 7 and 7, to we can still count your ‘absentee ballot’ even though you could have gone to the poll 3 days after the election. Oh yeah, they sent them out to people who didn’t request them as well. We had to sign an affidavit when we voted in person.

They renamed the “I am out of my state so I cannot vote in person – absentee ballot” to “I don’t want to stand in line to vote – provisional ballot”. I personally feel that you should have to pay taxes and not be dependent on the Government for sustenance, be a citizen with State ID, and be properly registered in the county and precinct that you are voting in, to be able to vote. If ignorance of the law is not a defense in court why shouldn’t ignorance of voting laws be the same in voting? “Oh.., you can’t drive to the proper place to vote? Okay here is a provisional ballot.”

But I digress, you DBDer’s already know this.

Once again we are relying on givernment, the so-called supreme court, to fix itself. Sorry to inform you that it ain’t gonna happen. The Sean Hannity’s of the world kept telling us to vote our way to a better government. Well, we did! Now, that, too, has been taken away from us. I am too old to do anything about it but would be happy to serve in a support capacity. Nuff said!
