Chris, I’m in. Thanks for all that you do.

Also done in memory of my great uncle, WW2 Army veteran, who passed yesterday at 95. Served wherever he was until he could no longer. His guidance will be sorely missed….

That’s been going around as a joke for a while, but unfortunately it’s beginning to look like it shouldn’t have been a joke.

Swan, condolences on your uncle. My dad was like that, though a bit younger (Korea and Vietnam), and passed away six weeks after 9-11 frustrated that there would be nothing he could do to help.

    Chris,
As is commonly the case, you hit the target dead center. Every one of these media personalities who threaten violence against duly elected officials need to be investigated. I don’t want them silenced, there are means of CIVIL discourse to express your opinions, but threats of violence should be taken at face value and dealt with appropriately. If someone had held the ‘severed head’ of Obama, he/she would have been charged with every crime imaginable.

    Spot on.
Bernie denounced the shooter due to a direct tie of the shooter working in Bern-out’s campaign.
Somehow, though, I’ve missed the rest of the DNC and the DMC decrying the violence they’ve been calling for.

So very true. All the people the progs think should have guns (with the exception of the military) are the very people who should NOT have firearms.

(Police, unfortunately, are often not given adequate or appropriate training with their firearms. Hence the number of round fired vs hits on target ratio being so high in so many instances. BTW, Kudos to the Capitol Hill Police for carrying on the fight in Alexandria after being shot.)

As I write it is a quarter to 6 Thursday morning approx 24 hours after the shooting. I’m gonna go out on a limb and predict that no later than the evening news tomorrow (Friday) somebody will have brought up that if we had only had a little bit of “sensible” gun control this person would never have been able to purchase that nasty old assault weapon in the first place and none of those people would have been shot – not even the poor (obviously mentally ill) beggar who perpetrated the horrific deed.

CBS this morning indicated that the people investigating the incident are stumped as regards the shooter’s motive,

Kudos for timeliness, Mr. Muir. I suspect that you already had the strip complete but saw an opportunity for timeliness and so edited the existing dialogue. Congrats.

Too late….Gov McAuliffe (D-Va) already brought it up, just hours after the shooting. Talk about blood dancing!! He claimed that 93 million (yes, with an “M”) American lives were lost daily in gun violence and shootings.
Of course he was “fact checked” and was told that with a total population of approximately 345 million, the US would be totally de-populated in 3 1/2 days.
Silly Libtard. Facts are for adults, “feewing” are for children.

Is there some way to come to this site without seeing that pop up of Skye, legs wide open? All you need is a speculum and you could show a complete Ob/Gyn exam.

If the shooting had taken place in a more gun friendly environment, that shit would have been stopped a hell of a lot sooner. Either the Kongress Kritters on the ball field would have been packing and able to return fire without cowering in a dugout……or some neighbor would have stepped out his front door and taken care of the situation. Another data point AGAINST gun control laws and gun free zones.

Most of Virginia is gun friendly. I don’t remember the rule for parks like where the ball field is (I think it is legal), but that wouldn’t have limited the few houses nearby. One of the Congressmen did say that he would start packing wherever he went starting now. (It will be interesting to see what he does when he has to go across the river into Washington, DC, where he works.)

I have a solution for that problem. After they take the Oath of Office to Defend and Support the Constitution, those in the Congress and Senate, if they so wish and after a lot of training, are sworn in as Reserve Federal Marshalls (unless this is not allowed). That way they can carry across state lines.

Well there we go, Skye still has the “us” vs “you” mentality* with herself on the wrong side, Damn!

Just heard on the radio: “They still have no idea of what the motivation of the shooter was. “. YGBFKM!

They were very lucky the guy was more incompetent than the “protection” that was on site, and make no mistake, that took some doing. The reporting is overboard for an incident where no one but the instigator (patsy) was killed. Remember, Hinkley is a free man today.

*I have it too, But I’m on the right side. 🙂

Of course they can’t figure out the shooter’s motives, he didn’t listen to conservative talk radio, he didn’t watch Fox news, he wasn’t a conservative, no one he shot was a member of a protected minority, he wasn’t a cop, he wasn’t Muslim, etc. etc. etc.
WHAT COULD HIS MOTIVE POSSIBLY BE?????????????????

  • June 15, 2017 at 9:00 am

Glenn beck’s sidekick commented yesterday that the shooter was definitely a liberal because he only hit 3 times out of 40+ shots. He surmised that the conservatives that had weapons generally train frequently hence would be better shots.

Prolly some truth to that …

Definitely that he was a big keyboard warrior. Missing with a handgun across half a baseball diamond can be expected, With a rifle? Not so much. (For the non-experienced/non-practiced shooter.)

I linked to this sheriff of Chris Muir’s county in FL who made this “controversial” Facebook post a few days ago on the anniversary of the Orlando nightclub shootup and presciently, a few days before yesterday’s shooting. “Most politically incorrect” he says. That’s a pretty strong endorsement right there. Another FL sheriff said basically the same thing on last night’s Channel 8 evening news but I can’t find the link. We need a lot more of men like these in LE and in gov if we are to survive and solve the violent attack on America from those who would kill us to shut us up.

So one of theirs blew a gasket and acted on the rhetoric of his people. Are the rabble-rousers responsible for inciting the action of others? All I know is when O’bumbles came to the CAT assembly plant in Peoria in 2009, one of the workers made a comment about being in the “crosshairs.” Another worker overheard this and told the Secret Service. The SS arrested him, interviewed everyone he ever knew down to his second grade teachers, confiscated his guns and kept him locked up for three days while bumbles was in flyover land. Almost lost his job, too. The thing is, he was referring to the “people” being in the crosshairs not the other way around. I know this because I saw the Agents with Earbuds coming to my workplace to interview his friends. It was not a good day.

So the same treatment should be reserved for the more vitriolic pontificators and they should be charged with being accessories before the fact and conspiracy. It is already illegal to make threats against the President, let’s apply that law.

So is this a global trend? As they constantly and consistently accuse the right of bigotry, fascism, racism and violence the left is busily employing all those things.
