That might be too much like being self-serving, or at least look like it.

This way, Wade has to figure Sam’s giving him the straight skinny about her sister, and Skye’s opinion of Zed’s veracity really doesn’t count.

Assuming that she’s even situationally aware enough to form one, which with Skye is frequently debatable.

I’ve always put her in the “cute, potential fixer-upper” category. And Wade seems like a pretty experienced “DIYer”.

      cheers

So…what you’re basically saying is that Skye just needs Wade to hammer and screw her in the proper manner?

      • January 28, 2015 at 12:04 pm

I am reminded of a Bruce Banner quote: “That [gal]’s brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell crazy on h[er]. “

I’m irritated that Skye is getting any warning whatsoever.

The fact that the assets are all in a family trust should be an amusing surprise for her.

She a practiced lib. Use it and abuse it then throw it away.
And they have been practicing that for some time now.

Fortunately Wade is is not the type to Need whatever Skye is going to offer as bait.

Ya know? The ones I feel sorriest for in this long running soap opera are little Hugo and Eva.

Maybe Skye will continue to forget about them and let Don Portego and Mama-San raise them.

Still curious who or what fathered them.

Imagine Hugo & Eva being raised by Wade, with Zed, Sam, Naomi & Anatoly as aunts and uncles.

Holy (bleep), you could end up with the next Nick Fury and Natasha Romanova, or the real-world equivalent.

When they attain their majority, their significant others could be in for an interesting experience, to say the least.

      cheers

Mix in a little of Star Trek.

That line was actually used, in an almost verbatim tribute to Star Trek, in the Babylon 5 Season 3 episode “Voices of Authority”. Commander Susan Ivanova observes the naked Earthgov samizdat” (political officer) trying to seduce Captain John Sheridan and tells him “Well Captain, it looks as if you’re about to go where… everyone… has gone before.” 😉

Now, if old Wade really is “up” to dealing with Skye, expect Sam to make some comment about the decade of “whoopie” she has to look forward to with Zed!

Maybe Sky should be warned about Wade.
And Wade should be reminded he already transferred the property.

I might agree that it’s funny to think of Wade teaching her a few good lessons, a worst car scenario is she starts asking a few questions and next thing we know Wade is saying something like “well son, she has a point…”

    Just thinking….

Wouldn’t it be jazz if when Skye is told about the ownership of the property, she tells Zed, that wasn’t exactly the “real estate” of Wade’s she’s interested in?

Ol’ Wade is sharp enough to have figured Skye out by now – and to be able to give her what she wants and the training she needs.
Now, you young whippersnappers just back off and let an old guy have his fun…and show you how it’s done. 😉
