Pistolero is the man who wields the pistol. Pistola is the firearm.

Wade hanging up his pistolero would be like the Lone Ranger hanging up Tonto.

    Or something.

    • JTC

Both pistolero and pistol are correct.

      Along about 7/26/16.

Painful anniversary coming up, y’all be cognizant. Maybe set that as a finish date for the fund drive as a small but meaningful tribute? I’ll be moving up my add-on deposit to that date.

      • I must say, that’s a pretty big move on the contribution chart. 😉

I am glad Chris added the actual percentage to go. Those of us who have red-green color-blindness have difficulty in distinguishing between the red and ‘black’ . Since the red reached that first ‘2’ of 2017, I have been clueless as to progress.

          • Chris Muir

You know, I never even thought of that and one of my friends is color-blind.Duh! Next year maybe black/white?

Go back again, or for the first time, to the DBD archives of 7/25/16 to 8/3/16…some of the most powerful and heart-rending art as ever you will see and feel.

Fair warning though, as you scan the page for august, avert your eyes as you pass 8/21, or be prepared to spend extended time on the couch pouring bleach over your eyes and mind. :0[

        • Old Codger

I went back to the 8/21 strip. Originally I pretty much just noticed His Muirness’ great artwork. I didn’t notice the extra naughty bits at the bottom of the frame. Reckon she’s better hung than Willy Jeff? I recall reading somewhere that behavior towards women like Willy Jeff’s is frequently is frequently a result of feelings of sexual inadequacy – such as micropenis (approximately 4 cm i.e. 1.5″).

There are some things you can’t unsee and thank the Good Lord that it didn’t end up back in the the oval office this time.
Per the other issue, I got a little curious to see where WJ lands on the scale.

Well I’ll never again refer to ol’ Slick Willy as a pig…

OTOH, now when wifey refers to me as a Big Gorilla it’s I’ll know what she’s really saying…truth hurts. 🙁

  • Heltau

    Still, a good story

  • May be the same city, but it ain’t gonna be the same address.

  • Knew there was more to Wade than ranching and resembling Sam Elliot…..

  • silvergreycat

The Marshals Museum (Fort Smith) is nearly 160 miles west of Mr. Clinton’s Presidential Library (Little Rock)… http://usmmuseum.org/

    • John

I wonder if Judge Parker’s hanging machine is there.

  • noncom

I like it….knew he wasn’t headed for “The Tribute to Clinton Corruption”….

    • NotYetInACamp

Thank God all of us good people here and across the nation made sure that there was not another one like it in Park Ridge, Illinois, or in New York. Votes matter, if enough of them are counted right.
Their bag man foundations do not count.

The proper destination sounds interesting. and kids need to experience many of those things known as a ROAD TRIP.

  • WayneM

Teaching the younglings to be proud of their ancestors… I gotta admit my throat tightened up when I read this one…

  • Unca Walt

And now we find that Dad was even more than had previously been revealed.

  • Pamela

Maybe the girls will follow in Grandpa’s footsteps.

    • Deplorable B Woodman

      That would be AWESOME

      • NotYetInACamp

A potential long term story line. 🙂
        Time will reveal.

        • Pamela

One thing I do know is the Girls will pass any Firearms Training and Testing in order to qualify and carry the U.S. Marshall’s Badge.

From the Clinton Museum Web site: “The White House was the Clintons’ only home during President Clinton’s two terms in office. They found ways to personalize it and make it theirs. Each of them had favorite spots in the White House and surrounded themselves with items that held special meaning for them. This area of the exhibit covers family celebrations, family memories, the First Pets, and two topics of great interest to President Clinton: sports and music. It includes family photos, gifts to the First Family bearing their likenesses, sports memorabilia, and saxophones given to President Clinton.” This proves frequent Sax in the white House
