A little Naomi is better than none.

I’m a fan of sideboob. Also underboob. And overboob. If you’re starting to detect a pattern… boobyah!!

We’re getting closer… Let’s see what happens when that red bar reaches the end of the row…

Is Naomi’s nipple missing or on ‘Toly’s sleeve…

    1. Never has more been said about less.

    2. That is one haughty little hottie ass in panel two.

    3. Extra $50 in the jar on 7/30 if it ain’t full by then, Chris.

What are the view figures vs the contributor figures? I’m fucking skint myself, but I gave. Look at option 1. Whatever. You still get gifts back. Quit being what I’m trying so hard not to say.

Patrons need donate only once a year. If ya have given, you’re done! 🙂 Typical number of patrons for online content I’ve seen is that 1/100 readers keep things going. DBD has 8-10k readers/day, and just under 900 patrons, so we are way ahead of the norm, 1/10! But, we do need every one of you.

I am seeing new names come up, so y’all come join the dbd Patrons, the crew, and me and keep your morning weirdness- the only conservative comic strip out there!

1/10th support the rest of the readers?! Sounds as bad as the general population and government, where 10% pay 99% of the income taxes *
What is it about how they can’t see that if EVERYONE had a little skin in the game the total would be greater instantly? Hey, they might even get more free stuff. 😉

*SWAG, but I’m sure it’s close.

In just about any organization, 10% of the members do 90% of the work. Or less. My VFW Post has over 500 members but less than 30 show up for the monthly meetings. And fewer do any work.

Keep in mind that 100% of our freedom and liberty – such as is still left to us – is maintained by the 2% of the population who serve and served in the Armed Forces.

Chris,I got an unexpected gift a couple days ago,so I gave some of it to you . Love your work!

      • July 16, 2017 at 10:14 am

You write/draw the awesome sauce (sorry about the teeny-bopper term, but it’s a ‘toon tie-in 🙂 ) and we’ll decide when we’re done, that okay with you Muir? 😉

Heckuva stat, that 10%, and a great parallel drawn by PaulS…you’d think even the casual readers here would rather be like patrons of the DBD than of the DBG (dole by gov).

C’mon y’all, even the price of a double-shot latte grande (whatever that is) would help if it’s X8000…and better for you and 2A too.

Chris ~ Good Sir DBD is a daily sanity check and a reminder that we are not alone in the world of asses who require all to obey and think as they do. In a world were Free Will and Freedom from oppression are not allowed for all.

Travis has created a brand new South Carolina Style “Double D Barbecue Sauce” sweetened with the collected Bitch Riding Schadenfreude Tears of Jake Tapper?

    Who knew?

    Sounds like a winner!

It’s not about the gifts, cmblake … or rather, more accurately, it’s about the “gifts” we get every morning when we click onto this site.

(I’ve been coasting a long while, but today, I’ve given back. Thanks for the ‘toon, Chris, it always brings a smile!

I’ve been contributing for how many years now Chris? And it’s worth it, to get the joy I receive every day. There have been a couple of times when I couldn’t get to a computer for a couple of days, but I’ve always tracked back to check what I missed. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

You must have been a hell of a clerk! 🙂

  • July 16, 2017 at 10:23 am

Speaking of sauce and ‘toon titles Chris, did you realize that once comments are opened that the title is gone and you have to re-open “home” to get it back? Makes it hard on old folks to remember when you want to reference it in a comment. Can you add it back above the topic line…like in the (sniffle) old days at the old place?

yeah, that gets fixed next month along with the standard nav buttons-they’re off now because they messed with the fundraiser setup. 😉

I’m finally home after almost a year of taking care of Mom (car wreak). We moved her down here yesterday. So, in celebration of being home again, and for the privilege of seeing more Zed and Sam (both of them), I tossed some into the pot.

Payday was Friday, so I’m going to up my support with an additional contribution. I do have a question about the ($25 redvolution). Is that 4 segments of a new ‘toon? Would I get 4 more with a second contribution?

GREAT ‘too, Chris!!! My favorite place on the whole interweb world!

And I like the “figure” in spot 4!

Yes, hi rez of new toon ‘promo’ art.Now a second $25 does NOT get you more, so keep it a one-time donation. However, ALL who select the ‘red’ option at any Level WILL receive a preview of the first week (downloads) of the new toon series in September (1776 launches in late Sep-or Oct).

In regards to the prior cartoon, I truly regret that I forgot that anything beyond the most recent post is closed for comments. I didn’t get the “comments closed” notice until I had typed out (with my usual two fingers) a loooonnng comments.

I miss being able to reply to individual comments (yeah, I can figure out why, even if I missed Chris explaining it when he changed the format), I miss being able to move to the previous or next post without having to run all the way to the bottom (yes, I know I am missing some great comments), and I promise I won’t type a long screed like this on anything but the “last” cartoon again. But I refuse to type it 100 times.

    • July 16, 2017 at 10:59 pm

I don’t blame ya! Yeah, there was really no option but to upgrade to WordPress.

    • July 16, 2017 at 11:55 pm

RegT, not much I prefer about the new format either, but CM says it was necessary. I don’t know much (zero) about that stuff, so I believe him.

But one function that is way better for some of us (whaddayou lookin’ at Chris?!) who are prone to ummm…wordy commentary, is that the random timing of switchover from one ‘toon day to the next (as early as 8 p.m. to as late as 2 a.m. est) of the old format which could swallow a lengthy and beautiful screed of humor and insight (or as often in my case a buncha random words) once you hit that button and it was gone…is replaced by a very punctual change at midnight sharp or a minute or so after (again est which is where Chris and I both are). So right now, at 11:55 I can be sure that when I hit the button this waste of words and space is gonna get published, for better or worse.

One bright spot among the several I’m not fond of with the new layout, but hey, I don’t own this place, I just enjoy the scenery and the exchange and put in my two cents figuratively and literally, so that I can enjoy it…which I totally do, no matter the minute details. 🙂
